Conversation with a 3-year-old: Video edition
I stole an idea from another triplet mom I know and decided to "interview" the girls. Lily was pretty chatty, Eve seemed a little uncomfortable, and Julia was totally distracted by what was going on in the next room. But it was pretty fun and I've been wanting to get more video of them just talking about stuff to capture their voices and the pronunciations and mannerisms they have right now. Here they are...

Aww! You don't realize how different kids' voices, mannerisms, and styles are till you listen to them answer the same questions like that. They're too cute!!
It's wonderful how well they set up their responses to "My favorite is ..." or "I like __ because ..." Too cute!!
I remember doing this with my little brother and we've vowed to break out that tape for his graduation party- I'm sure he'll REALLY love it then(especially when we asked what he wanted to be when he grew up- his response "Cookie Monster")
This is a great idea. I'm so going to borrow it, if I can ever get Calvin distracted from the mechanics of the camera long enough to get him to actually answer a question.
P.S. I knew Tim Robot tendencies were going to contaminate your kids. Didn't I tell you??? Didn't I try and warn them in the womb??? ;-)
Adorable! I miss you all. It looks like I might not be able to make a visit until June. :-(
But, it will be here soon!
Ok--love that Lily and Eve both like to play tag with each other. So cute. And at least Eve likes to eat something! And I love that it took Julia 2 tries before she got to her name (Littlefoot! Speed!, oh, alright...Julia) Love it.
